About Holly Roeder 

With over 16 years' experience as a Racing Secretary and personal assistant, I bring a deep understanding of, and enthusiasm for, all aspects of racing and bloodstock administration.  Organised, efficient, and passionate, I specialise in streamlining and managing thoroughbred-related admin to the highest professional standard.

Although I came into the racing industry in my mid-twenties, it quickly became clear that this demanding and multifaceted role was a perfect fit for me.  With strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail, I have consistently excelled at multi-tasking and transforming racing and breeding operations into well-organised, effective businesses.

My journey began in the creative world of floristry, training professionally in my late teens and working for five years with esteemed designer florist Jane Packer in Marylebone, London. While I loved that chapter, I eventually left London in search of a long-term career and found it in the world of horseracing, a passion sparked by my beloved late father, Glenn, a professional footballer.

Relocating to Newmarket, I began working with trainer Robert Cowell, where I built his office and administrative systems from the ground up.  Over 14 years, I helped develop a fully functional and successful racing and breeding operation. I then moved to a similar role with trainer Sean Woods following his return from Hong Kong.

Alongside these positions, I have also worked closely with Mr Malih Al Basti and Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai.  This involved untangling and managing a complex bloodstock portfolio, handling all related administration including VAT returns, invoicing, sales, nominations, registrations, and supporting sponsorships and industry events.

Now, I offer my skills, experience, and discretion as a remote racing and bloodstock administration specialist.  Whether you're an owner, trainer, manager, agent, consignor, or running a business in the thoroughbred industry, I provide virtual personal assistant services tailored to your specific admin needs, allowing you to focus on what matters most.

Additionally, drawing on my background in floristry and event coordination, I am available for bespoke Racing event management, from conception to completion, with a creative and professional touch.
